HSP1/8 brushless truck .Although this truck was cheap there were some problems. The steering servo didnt work out of the box but it was better to replace it than to send it back as I have spares.Out of the box the truck is fairly good with decent speed and handling but the shocks had diff oil in them and were way too stiff but easily fixed.The tyres grip ok but are too thin and easily damaged. The truck will run on nimh but it heats up the batteries enough to melt the shrink wrap.Best to run on 7.4v lipo as the low voltage cut off works fine also much better power.Stock radio works fine 27mhz am. Changed pinion gear from 14t to 13t much better acceleration now.The truck was missing two circlips from suspension pins and the rear gearbox casing was full of dirt.Diffs had just a little oil in them but I changed them anyway to 3k front 100k centre and 50k rear low speed off power turn in now much better.Changed wheels/tyres to hobby pro, shocks are now hobao big bores.This truck is fun to drive.
